NURSERY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
We need adults willing to take turns with the Nursery (Children younger than 3 as of August 31, 2024). If you want to participate in this part of our ministry, please get in touch with Linda at lharing15@gmail.com or on Sunday mornings. You must be 21 or older to supervise the nursery. We cannot provide a Nursery without volunteers. Nursery begins at 8:50 and ends at the completion of service. **During September - May only.

Volunteers needed at Food Bank UMCNL volunteers are needed on Saturday September 19 from 9:00-11:30 a.m. at the Northern Illinois Food Bank, Larkin Avenue, Joliet. ( Children aged 8 & above can help if accompanied by an adult) . Sign up on the poster in the Narthex by September 6.
Serve neighbors who are hungry Volunteers are needed to help serve the evening meal to residents at Daybreak Center in Joliet on Monday evening Sept. 7 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. UMCNL volunteers will assist with the meal set up, serving, and clean up under the direction of congregational member Kristine Warning. (Hats or head coverings & closed toed shoes are a must) To volunteer or for more information contact Kristine directly at kwarning@sbcglobal.net
